The indispensable assistant OneNote

The most handy electronic notebook for notes, to-do lists and more is Microsoft OneNote.

We all take notes. Some on scattered paper, some in a handwritten notebook, some in an electronic one, and some like to combine different ways of saving information. Microsoft OneNote will be indispensable for you if you keep records on digital media.

To organize your space, the application offers to create separate notebooks on relevant topics, be it work, study, hobbies or whatever, and already inside the notebook to create tabs with sections on relevant topics. The number of sections is unlimited, as well as the number of pages and subpages within each section.

Notepad functionality is very rich. It has many popular features from the text editor MS Word, in particular the automatic spell checker. A nice distinction is autosave – that is, in principle, do not have to save yourself or search for a saved file on disk space. At the same time, notepad itself can have active links, both to specific files on your device and to Internet links.

Paste in OneNote

With a rich pasting toolkit, you can make screen clippings, add pictures and videos from the web in no time at all. An ingenious set of tags lets you create to-do lists and check off to-do lists you’ve already made. In addition, the app knows how to solve math problems – just enter an example, put an equal sign and press the space bar. For example, 5*4=20 (the number 20 will automatically appear after you press the space bar following the equals sign). OneNote lets you draw, take audio and video notes, share and edit notes with friends, and much more.

OneNoteote is an easy way to take notes and store information, plus a host of other great features.

A full version is available as part of Microsoft’s paid Office suite, but there’s also a free, slightly simplified version (often pre-installed in Windows or in the app store). In addition, the notebook can be accessed online, directly from office.com, as well as other office programs. There are mobile applications for OneNote, so you can access your notes from your tablet and phone. And for easy saving of information you need from the Internet, you can install a special browser extension that will download everything you need to a new page in a couple of clicks to the section you specify.

OneNote Clipper

Of the many analogues among notebooks, Evernote stands out above all, having both a browser-based interface and an application for any device. It has its own perks, such as a tagging system or the same web clipper for instantly saving pages from the Internet. Alternatively, you can use both solutions for different purposes. However, Microsoft OneNote alone can solve most of the problems of conveniently storing notes and all sorts of information.
